No Gospel Without Words

In a sermon from CROSS 2016, John Piper made the point that we must not only live the gospel but use words to communicate the gospel.

God uses everyday people, charged by the power of his Spirit, to bring others to see the beauty and splendor of his Son. God uses normal people like us to build his kingdom. . . But our mission isn’t just to do good deeds, but to proclaim. We can’t witness effectively if we expect others to simply observe our lives and notice Jesus. They will only see Jesus in us if they hear about him from us. There is no gospel without words.
